Josie Siegrist (she/her) is a senior at Hayes High School. This is her second year as a Writer on staff. Josie also runs The Hayes Talisman TikTok page. She plays guitar and listens to music in her free time. She loves music, reading, writing, and being surrounded by friends and family.

Basic music taste tbh. This would be more interesting if you brought on people who ACTUALLY had different music tastes rather than basic artists. Radiohead, Charli xcx, Kanye, and Fallout boy are all main stream and everyone knows about them and the song they produced, so why not strive towards diversiveness and get people on here who are different. I get the need to make this segment “appealing” to the audience but it gets repetitive and boring. It also seems like you guys are making up for the lack of disversity, in music, by inviting well-known people in the school to make this actually somewhat interesting.
