This year, the Talisman is doing special features on 26 unique seniors throughout the school year to celebrate these past four years they’ve spent here. These students represent the different facets of the class of 2026 at Delaware Hayes.
Meet Wyatt:
Q: What activities are you involved in at Hayes?
A: I am part of Hayes Thespians, Marching Band, Hayes Singers, Film Club, and InTheKnow.
Q: Do you have any commitments outside of school?
A: Practice after school most of the time, as well as working as a lifeguard.
Q: How did you balance your schoolwork with your other commitments?
A: I find that being involved forces me to make the most of the short free time I do have. So I definitely am able to balance everything.
Q: What is your favorite memory from Hayes?
A: Laughing with Mr. Lehman about our senioritis in AP Chem.
Q: What has been your favorite class at Hayes and why?
A: Probably Hayes Singers. It gives me a break from all the stress during the day and gives me a sort of family during school.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for future high schoolers?
A: Get involved! You’ll never regret it!
Q: What is one thing you’ll miss when you’re gone?
A: Hanging out with all my friends!
Q: What are your plans for after high school and why?
A: I plan to attend Kenyon College on the Pre-Med track.
Good luck Wyatt! We are looking forward to seeing what you will achieve in these next steps.
